Bicycles should be banned. They are obsolete and a major safety hazard everywhere they are used.
Why do we take a perfectly good roads which can handle hundreds of cars an hour and ruin them with bike lanes so the roads now handles a few dozen cars an hour and a couple of arrogant selfish bike riders?
Bicycles used to have strict licensing and safety requirements.
Bikes had to pay an annual licence fee just like cars. They had to display a licence plate, have front and rear lights and a bell or or other noise device.
Some areas today also require bike riders to pass a "riders" test and show competence and knowledge of the rules of the road. Wouldn't that be nice?
The fees were modest. We need to reinstate this policy now so bike riders who flaunt all laws, can be ticketed and forced to pay their share for obstructing traffic on our roads.
No more tolerance for these ignorant, selfish bastards. Lock them up and take away those hideous outfits.
